Taste of Carrollton 2010!

Here is what we know!

We had an amazing Taste of Carrollton in 2009.  Despite the bad weather we raised a record amound of money for our program and had 30 local restaurants participate in our event.  We're hoping to be even bigger and better next year!!

Next year's event will be held on September 16^th from 5:30-8pm.  If you have never been to our Taste of Carrollton event here is how it breaks down.  We invite local restaurants to participate in our event, they bring the tents and the bite size portions of food to the square.  We sell you tickets and you exchange them with the restaurants for a bite size serving. 10-15 tickets per person should more than fill you up.  Most servings cost about 1-2 tickets.  The tickets cost one dollar a piece.  All proceeds go to support our program and we put money back into the community through different grants and beautification projects.  For example we used a portion of last year's proceeds to instal commercial grade LED lights on the downtown buildings to light up the roof tops of the square for the holiday season.  So you get the opportunity to fill up on some yummy food and it all goes to benefit a good cause.
